Past Chair of the Board
Mario Rendon is currently District Director for State Assemblymember Kevin Mullin. He develops the communications, public relations and constituent service strategy for the office and supervises a small team that represents Mr. Mullin in the 22nd Assembly District within San Mateo County.
Mario spent 5 years at Pacific Gas & Electric Company, including time as Director of Workforce Development. He oversaw the creation and delivery of training programs and initiatives in collaboration with the education system to address the needs of the current and future energy workforce. He joined PG&E in 2007 as a Government Relations Consultant, responsible for public affairs and community relations.
Prior to joining PG&E, Mario worked with elected officials (Jackie Speier, Anna Eshoo and Jerry Hill) for over 15 years at the local, state and federal level addressing public policy around workforce development, education, healthcare, transportation, housing, environment and civic engagement. He earned a B.A. in Behavioral Science and Latin American Studies from College of Notre Dame (now Notre Dame de Namur University) and a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law.
He lives in Half Moon Bay with his wife Julie and their two furry children (a shepherd mix and an all-American mutt).
