2018 Business Woman of the Year Awarded to Janette D’Elia

Press Release:  Redwood City– San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce Awards Business Woman of the Year to Janette D’Elia

The Redwood City-San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce Business Woman of the Year Award, co-sponsored with Heritage Bank of Commerce, will be awarded to Janette D’Elia. Janette is the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Jay Paul Company.

Janette’s professional accomplishments include successfully negotiating over 8.5 million square feet of commercial real estate leases with such companies as Google, Facebook, and Amazon; she has secured approvals for over 9 million square feet of prime commercial real estate projects in addition to developing 8.5 million square feet of commercial real estate. She is a three-time honoree as a Northern California Woman of Influence, has been recognized as a Silicon Valley Power Executive, and is the proud recipient of numerous Real Estate Development of the Year and Real Estate Deal of the Year awards as COO of Jay Paul Company.

Janette has directed the Company’s significant community engagement in Redwood City. Their philanthropic efforts have benefited local organizations such as Boys & Girls Club, Police Activities League, Sheriff’s Activities League, Magical Bridge Foundation, Redwood City Education Foundation, Reading Partners, St. Francis Center as well as numerous other city and county programs and events.

Janette will receive The Business Woman of the Year Award at the Chamber’s 121st Annual Dinner on Friday, February 1, 2019 at the Pullman San Francisco Bay Hotel in Redwood City.
